I know how to get complicated work moving.
For more than a decade in complex corporate environments, I’ve been trusted to recover critical projects, mobilise new teams, design operating models and turn ambitious strategies into work that gets delivered.
Now I help founder-led service businesses improve how the business works, so growth does not leave the team relying on longer hours and last-minute intervention.
Bringing clarity and structure to work that matters
Throughout my career, I have worked where the stakes are high, the moving parts are connected and there is no simple off-the-shelf answer.
Whether it is recovering a project that has gone off track, mobilising a new team or improving processes that are creating ambiguity and delay, I help people understand what is getting in the way and agree a practical route forward.
The situation may be different in every business, but the value I bring is consistent: I can quickly make sense of a complicated environment, connect issues that may appear unrelated and create the clarity and structure needed to move forward.
Why I look at People, Projects and Systems
Operational problems rarely exist in isolation.
A delayed project may actually be caused by unclear ownership. A team problem may be made worse by competing priorities. A process may look sensible on paper but create extra work for the people expected to follow it.
That is why I look across three connected areas:
People
Are roles, responsibilities and decision-making clear? Does the team have the information, capacity and confidence it needs to deliver?
Projects
Are the right priorities being progressed? Is ownership clear, and can leaders see progress, dependencies and risks without constantly chasing for updates?
Systems
Do processes, tools and operating rhythms make work easier and more consistent, or are people relying on memory, workarounds and individual effort?
Looking at these areas together allows me to get beneath the visible symptoms, understand how the issues connect and identify the changes that will make the greatest difference.
Corporate experience, applied to growing businesses
Working in large organisations has taught me how to lead through complexity, bring different perspectives together and create structure without losing sight of the people doing the work.
Growing businesses may operate at a different scale, but they face many of the same challenges. Priorities compete. Responsibilities become blurred. Projects multiply. Processes that once worked begin to strain.
I bring a level of operational and delivery experience that is often difficult for a growing business to access without hiring a senior permanent leader.
You get an experienced outside perspective, focused on understanding what is really happening and helping you make the right operational decisions for the next stage of the business.
My Approach
Find the cause, not just the symptom
I will ask questions, listen to the people closest to the work and be straightforward about what the evidence shows. We will agree what matters most, make the decisions needed to move forward and test the changes in your business.
You will work directly with me. I bring structure and momentum, while keeping the approach practical enough for a busy team to use. I also want you to understand how the changes work, so your business can keep improving after the engagement ends.
What it is like to work with me
Clients and colleagues describe me as someone who brings order out of chaos.
I am calm under pressure, comfortable working through ambiguity and willing to ask the questions that help people move beyond circular conversations. I bring structure and challenge, but I also care about making the process constructive, collaborative and human.
You can expect honest thinking, clear communication and advice shaped around the reality of your business. No generic playbook and no change for the sake of appearing busy.
Better operations should make growth easier
I help build the operational strength behind growth, so important work moves faster, fewer problems depend on individual heroics and the business can take on more without adding the same level of cost, complexity and pressure.
If your business is growing but the way it operates has not kept pace, let’s talk about what is getting in the way and what needs to change.
